Freelancingteams reserve the right to make additions, deletions, or modification to the contents on the site any time without prior notice. Freelancingteams is a marketplace, which allow users to buy and sell services and items.
The buyers and sellers must register into our system to fully use the services. Using our platform the freelancers can join in groups, work together, and buy or sell other user services or items. Freelancingteams does not have any contractual agreement with the buyer or sellers except providing the platform facilitating the interactions.As such, Freelancingteams marketplace has no control over the quality, safety, morality or legality of any aspect of the services or the items listed, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of the sellers to sell the items or services, or the ability of the buyers pay for the items or services. Freelancingteams do not pre-screen or validate users, and hence, cannot assure that the buyer and seller can actually complete a transaction.
Freelancingteams cannot guarantee the true identity, nationality or any other information provided in the website. Hence, Freelancingteams is not responsible or liable for any content for example, image, data, information, usernames, graphics, photographs, profiles, skillsets, links posted by you, or other persons, or third parties on the website. You use the Freelancingteams at your own risk.
Freelancingteams are available only to, and may only be used by, individuals who are 18 years and older who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.
You agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content. You are responsible for all applicable taxes payable as a result of your activity on the Site.
"Confidential Information" means any information disclosed by or obtained from Client (project owner) or other members in connection with the performance of services under this Agreement, regardless of whether such information or data is in oral, written, machine readable, or other form. Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to:
(a) The Services, any Deliverable or Work Product;
(b) Any information relating to the services performs for Client
(c) Computer programs owned or licensed by Client or other members;
(d) Compilations of information selected, arranged and processed by Client;
(e) Developments, improvements, processes, procedures, inventions and trade secrets produced by Clients or its employees or agents;
(f) The terms and conditions of this Agreement and any Task Order; and
(g) Technical information, project data, project plans
(h) Copies, fixed or embodied in a tangible medium or form of expression (brochures, proposal materials, computer program listings, flow charts, coding lists, works, data bases, manuals, documentation, tapes, disks, diskettes, and all copies thereof) and any other proprietary information of Client.
In order to ensure fairness for all parties involved, it is important that every member (or user) observers heightened code of conduct using the site appropriately. Freelancingteams members always act in a professional manner in accordance with generally accepted business ethics, customs and habits. Freelancingteams members shall at all times:
(a) Do not use false, obscene, fraudulent, inaccurate or misleading information
(b) Do not disclose any information gathered from a project, proposal or teams to third parties. The information must be shared only with the relevant parties as needed basis.
(c) Must not use defamatory, libelous, unlawful threatening, harassing or intimidate any person using this site.
(d) Do not involve or participate in any kind of discrimination including age, gender, race, ethnicity, country of origin, culture or religious affiliation.
(e) Do not use any information obtained from this site for unintended purpose or to publish, transmit or disclose such information to third parties without explicit prior approval of the relevant party or the Freelancingteams.com.
(f) Must not infringe upon any third-party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret of other proprietary or intellectual properly rights.
(g) Do not use the site for any purpose that results in or may result in complaints, disputes, claims, fees, fines or other liabilities to Freelancingteams, other members or third parties.
(h) Must not exploit, breach, modify, adapt or hack into this site or any other site by the name of Freelancingteams.com
Members shall immediately notify freelancingteams of any violation or suspicious of a violation of this code of conduct by any other member.
Any violation of this code of conduct shall be deemed as a violation of this user agreement and will result in immediate and permanent blocking or dismissal from this site and possible liability for any damages following form any such violation.
Upon receipt of payments and acceptance of the work product by the client (project owner), all work product shall belong to Client, and hereby assigns all its right, title and interest in and to all work product to the Client. As used herein, âWork Productâ means documents and other tangible materials, including designs, documentation, flow charts, memoranda, notes, reports, records, computer programs and instructional materials produced by Freelancer as a result of its work under a task order.
Freelancingteams uses third-party payment processor Stripe for all payments and payouts for the services performed in this site. To pay and get paid, you must create and maintain a valid Stripe account by using the account setup option within the Freelancingteams.com. Please note the terms, conditions and services offered by the payment processors are different from Freelancingteams terms, condition and services respectively. Please click here for the Stripe payment terms. We do not store any payment information (e.g. card numbers, expiration date, CVC, Zip/postal code), and it is up to the members to secure their account details. Freelancingteams may introduce additional payment methods in the future, and reserves the rights to change the terms & conditions accordingly.
The project owner (client) must have sufficient fund before commencing any work. Freelancingteams offers client to make payments based on the feature before commencing the work. The payments collected from the client for the feature work will be delivered to the applicable Escrow Account and will be released to the freelancers upon completion of work. Freelancingteams.com does not operate or maintain escrow service within the site. Freelancingteams uses third party escrow service (Stripe) for holding up the funds. However, the site provides the interface to collect and process the payments. The client and freelancers hereby agree and authorize freelancingteams.com to collect necessary payments and fees through the site and process the payments. Below are additional terms and conditions:
(a) The client agrees to create and maintain payment accounts
(b) It is client's responsibility to document the feature and sign-off criteria, and ensure the work product is completely appropriately
(c) By signing-off, the client acknowledges that the work product has been completed fully and satisfactorily
(d) By signing-off, the client instructs Freelancingteams.com to release the payments immediately. Freelancingteams may take additional time to release the payments to the freelancers.
(e) If the client does not approve the work product, the parties may elect to resolve the issues using the Dispute resolution process.
Payouts are funds deposited to the freelancers account after successful completion of work. To get paid, the freelancers must setup and maintain an active account in Strip through the account setup option in the freelancingteams.com. The freelancer portion of the payouts will be released upon satisfying the following terms and condition:
The Freelancer agrees to create and maintain payment accounts through the site
(a) The Client has approved the commencement of feature work
(b) The freelancer has completed the work and the Client has not disputed on any pending work
(c) The client has signed-off on the feature work
(d) There is no dispute from other team members associated with the work
(e) Only the funds for the completed tasks will be distributed to the freelancer account.
Freelancingteams will charge a flat service fee of 10% from the client and the freelancers involved in the project work separately. For the client, this 10% service fee will be assessed based on the total feature cost. For the freelancers, Freelancingteams will deduct the 10% service fee from the cost of work performed. Payment processing fees for the client – Clients will be charged a payment processing and administration fee of 2.9% + $0.30 USD by Stripe. Please click here for additional details.
We reserve the right to make changes to this user agreement at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of this user agreement. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated user agreement on the Site, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification. You are encouraged to periodically review this user agreement to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised user agreement by your continued use of the Site after the date such revised user agreement is posted.
Freelancingteams.com reserves the right to either temporarily or permanently refuse service to anyone at anytime. Freelancingteams.com reserves the rights to cancel unconfirmed, fake or inactive accounts.
